Anti-drug coalition makes hemp THC restrictions an election issue

CADCA added questions on intoxicating hemp products to its 2026 congressional election guide as federal lawmakers face a delayed ban deadline. Oklahoma hemp and cannabis businesses should track candidate positions because the synthetic-cannabinoid cutoff remains November 12 while most other hemp restrictions were delayed to December 11.
