Clear terms for using Leafy
Effective August 2, 2026. By accessing Leafy Updates, you agree to these terms. If you use Leafy for an organization, you represent that you can accept these terms for that organization.
Public information and accuracy
Leafy organizes public licensing records and best-effort business information. Records can be delayed, incomplete, or matched incorrectly. Leafy is an informational service, not a licensing authority, law firm, financial adviser, or substitute for official records. Verify critical decisions with the relevant regulator and qualified advisers.
Accounts and business profiles
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and tell us promptly about unauthorized access. Only claim or edit a business profile when you are authorized to represent that business. We may request verification, restrict access, correct records, or suspend an account to protect users and data quality.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Leafy, interfere with the service, bypass access or rate controls, introduce malicious code, impersonate others, collect personal information unlawfully, or use Leafy to violate law or another person's rights. Automated access must follow published technical controls and written permissions.
Submitted content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Leafy a non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and adapt that content as needed to provide and improve the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions required to submit it.
Connected platforms
Features that connect with LinkedIn, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or another platform also depend on that platform's terms, permissions, and availability. You can revoke a connection through the applicable platform or ask Leafy to delete stored connection tokens.
Availability and liability
Leafy is provided on an as-available basis without guarantees that every record, feature, or integration will always be accurate or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Leafy and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages resulting from use of the service.
Changes and contact
