Bipartisan CLAIM Act targets federal insurance barriers for cannabis businesses

Sens. Kevin Cramer and Ruben Gallego introduced the CLAIM Act to shield insurers, brokers, agents and employees from federal penalties for serving state-licensed marijuana businesses and to prevent coverage restrictions based solely on cannabis activity.
