Cardiol expands Phase III CBD pericarditis trial after blinded event review

Cardiol Therapeutics expanded its Phase III CardiolRx trial from 110 to as many as 150 participants after a blinded review found fewer recurrent pericarditis events than expected. The review does not yet show CBD efficacy, a distinction Oklahoma product companies and investors should preserve when assessing research or making marketing claims.
