Colorado extends Metrc tracking contract through 2029 and adds Retail ID tools

Colorado extended its statewide Metrc track-and-trace contract through 2029 and plans to add Metrc Insights analytics plus serialized Retail ID QR codes for product and testing information. Oklahoma licensees already working in Metrc should monitor the rollout because similar item-level identification and compliance analytics could affect labeling, inventory and point-of-sale workflows in other Metrc states.
