Delaware enacts licensed THC-beverage channel with dose, tax and testing rules

Delaware Gov. Matt Meyer signed HB 373, creating a licensed channel for nonalcoholic hemp-derived delta-9 beverages with 10-milligram single-serve limits, required testing and packaging standards, designated retail channels and separate per-container taxes; most provisions take effect Oct. 21. For Oklahoma beverage and hemp operators, the law is a transferable example of a state preserving intoxicating drinks through tightly defined product, channel and safety rules as federal hemp restrictions approach.
