Government-funded study identifies 79 compounds formed when THC is heated

Louisiana State University researchers detected 79 compounds after heating purified THC at 400 to 800 degrees Celsius, including 20 compounds previously associated with adverse biological effects. The laboratory work did not measure consumer health outcomes, but it gives Oklahoma manufacturers and brands new evidence for inhalation-risk assessment and product education.
