Marijuana Possession Arrests Rose 6% as Racial Disparities Widened

FWD.us analysis of FBI data found marijuana possession arrests rose by 11,091 to 201,273 in 2025, with Black Americans accounting for 83% of the increase and eight southern states producing 75% of the national rise. Oklahoma operators should watch the enforcement trend because it can shape social-equity policy, consumer risk and the industry's case for regulated access across the region.
