New York City Bill Targets Vape Shops Selling Cannabis Illegally

The New York City Council sent a bill to the mayor that would allow regulators to suspend, revoke or refuse renewal of tobacco and electronic-cigarette retail licenses after unauthorized cannabis sales. Oklahoma licensed operators should watch the cross-license enforcement model because it raises the cost of illicit competition by putting a seller’s other regulated permits at risk.
