New York opens cannabis showcase events to fully integrated microbusinesses

Gov. Kathy Hochul signed S.10113/A.11217, effective immediately, allowing licensed microbusinesses authorized for cultivation, processing and retail to fill all required roles in Cannabis Showcase Event permits. Oklahoma operators and policymakers can treat New York’s permitted farmers-market model as a test case for expanding small-producer market access while retaining age, security and local-approval controls.
