San Francisco approves cannabis café ordinance with layered permits and first-year entry limits

San Francisco supervisors voted 7-4 to let licensed cannabis cafés serve food and nonalcoholic drinks alongside on-site consumption, subject to a separate public-health permit, restaurant food-safety rules, electronic age checks, and a ban on take-home cannabis, alcohol, and tobacco. The mayor still must sign the ordinance; its one-year head start for existing storefronts and equity partners gives Oklahoma operators a concrete model for future consumption-lounge and cannabis-hospitality policy.
