Self-Report Study Finds Cannabis Drinks Coincide With Lower Alcohol Use

A 4,516-person self-report study of 36 cannabis beverages found 65 percent of participants drank less alcohol during the three-week test and reported improvements in sleep, mood and other measures. Oklahoma beverage operators can treat the findings as a product-demand signal, but not clinical proof, and should avoid overstating health claims because the study was observational and self-reported.
