Virginia’s attorney general created a Regulated Products Enforcement Unit to centralize inspections, retail compliance, product-directory administration and civil enforcement for THC, hemp-derived products, kratom and related intoxicants. Oklahoma hemp manufacturers and retailers should treat the move as a transferable warning that states are pairing product eligibility lists with coordinated inspections and penalties, increasing the importance of current certifications, compliant packaging and retailer-level inventory controls.
