Rhode Island sets quarantine option for hemp products above federal THC cap

Rhode Island licensees may quarantine hemp-derived products above 0.4 milligrams total THC per container rather than destroy them when the federal limit takes effect Dec. 11, but the inventory cannot be processed, moved, advertised or sold. The state requires a quarantine inventory filing by Dec. 4, giving Oklahoma hemp operators a concrete model for segregation, web-listing removal and destruction controls ahead of the same federal transition.
