University of Mississippi team reports dissolving microneedle CBD delivery prototype

University of Mississippi researchers presented a solvent-free dissolving microneedle patch containing 10% CBD that released about 70% of its load within two hours in laboratory testing. The work is preliminary and not a human efficacy study, but it gives Oklahoma product developers an early signal on alternative cannabinoid delivery formats and the validation still needed before commercialization.
